Hi I’m new to luts. I shoot with a zve10. So my understanding after shooting slog is that in post I apply the 709 and then a layer over my LUT. Is that right? And so if I apply my lut to show on screen while recording will it look different in post after I layer 709 then applying the same lut?
@@ChocolateSiomai I did go back and look and unfortunately no it can’t use imported luts. I thought maybe you could use a user lut with a picture profile but the user luts don’t show up as an option to use. But you are able to use s-cinetone for photos if that’s a help. Tou can use the creative looks and you can modify them in camera though which is pretty cool
I do all same its not working ... I even did a factory reset and tried with different luts .. but it give me this lut off symbol on the upper area of the screen and shows log only not even in body rec 709.. what am I doing wrong?
Thanks for making this so straight forward and simple to follow. Subscribing just because of that. Keep up the great work!
Awesome video like always! Great job, bro
Awesome! What are your thoughts on the ZV-E10 II so far?
I love it! Such a great compact camera with less expensive lens options, but will also still pair well with my full frame Sony cameras.
Thanks!
Not sure what happened. Did exactly what you said, and it comes back with, the file does not exist. I'm sure I missed something.
I think it only supports log to rec709 luts and Not Creative look style luts
Can i use the luts also if im combining drone footage and b roll?

Any idea why my luts can't be applied? It just says "This file cannot be loaded." Do you have any idea on what to do?
I cannot turn on the embed lut file and did exactly as you said?
Can the luts be used also for photos?

@@KyleWattsTV Thank you! I was going to ask this as well. great video !

@@NicoMueckay should be the same.
i have mark 2, and no option for select lut in there... any solution?
make sure camera is set is set to 'video mode' at the top of the camera

Make sure you’re in the 4:2:2 10 bit codec. Otherwise I’m not sure what the problem would be
On zve10??
@@chiragsolanki263 the mark 1 zve10 doesn’t have slog 3 nor does it have user lut ability
Are you able to use these LUTS in photo mode?
@@CertifiedCryptoBoy unfortunately not. Sony does now have customizable creative looks that you can use though in the camera
Too bad, that would be cool!
Thank you for this but I did run into a problem where it won’t even let me open the LUT file on the computer and the camera itself .
My A6700 does this too.
